My story
I became a Licensed Social Worker in 2019 because I believe deeply in the capacity every person has to heal and grow. Outside of this work, I’ve been married for over 26 years and am the proud mother of two kind, grown daughters and honestly, those relationships have shaped the way I show up here more than anything else. Watching someone come back to themselves, that’s one of the greatest privileges of my life.
In 2022, I opened Welcome Home Wellness with a simple conviction: it shouldn't feel clinical or cold. You deserve a space that feels safe, unhurried, and genuinely yours.
I specialize in trauma and brain health, and I'm certified in Brainspotting, a powerful, evidence-based approach that works with the brain's own capacity to process and heal. Whether we meet weekly or you come for an intensive, I'll meet you exactly where you are.
How I work
Everything I do is rooted in an understanding of how trauma lives in the body and brain. You'll never be pushed faster than you're ready to go.
Certified in Brainspotting — a focused, brain-based approach that helps process trauma and emotional pain at a deeper level than talk therapy alone.
I accept insurance for individual sessions and keep my rates accessible because I believe cost should never be the reason someone doesn't get support.
What is Brainspotting?
Brainspotting is a powerful, brain-based therapy developed by Dr. David Grand. It works on the principle that "where you look affects how you feel." By identifying specific eye positions that correlate with unprocessed trauma or emotional pain, we can access and release what's been stuck.
Unlike traditional talk therapy, Brainspotting bypasses the thinking mind and works directly with the subcortical brain, the part that holds trauma, instinct, and emotion. Many people find it reaches places that years of conversation couldn't.
"It's not about reliving the past — it's about finally letting your brain finish what it started."
I offer a free 15-minute consultation, no pressure, no commitment. Just a conversation to see if we're a good fit for each other.
